Le 1176 est un compresseur limiteur FET de classe A sortie dans les ann\u00e9es 1960. Il tr\u00e8s efficace avec temps d&rsquo;attaque et de release tr\u00e8s rapide, un must sur les caisses claires et percussions en g\u00e9n\u00e9ral, mais reste \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise dans toutes les situations. Des compressions les plus douces au plus extr\u00eames. Essaye le fameux \u00ab\u00a0British mode\u00a0\u00bb tu entendras jusqu\u2019o\u00f9 peut aller cette b\u00eate en termes de compression et saturation extr\u00eame. Fabuleux !<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le CLA-76 est compos\u00e9 de la version moderne noir et de la version bleue vintage. Deux caract\u00e8res diff\u00e9rents pour le m\u00eame plugin. Une compression tr\u00e8s naturelle et douce, avec&nbsp;att\u00e9nuateur opto \u00e9lectronique, qui permet une r\u00e9duction de gain rapide sans augmentation de la distorsion. Le ratio, l&rsquo;attack et le release sont fixe, il y a tr\u00e8s peu de r\u00e9glages : gain d&rsquo;entr\u00e9e et seuil, simple mais terriblement efficace. Certainement moins discret que le<strong> LA 2A<\/strong>, avec un peu plus de mordant, moins agressif qui le <strong>1176<\/strong> tout de m\u00eame. Il dispose des m\u00eame r\u00e9glage que le <strong>LA 2A<\/strong>, il a un ratio, une attaque et un rel\u00e2chement fixe. Son caract\u00e8re sonore et sa distorsion harmonique saura ramener les \u00e9l\u00e9ments du mixage au premier plan. Personnellement, je l&rsquo;adore sur les guitares acoustiques, \u00e9lectriques et basses. Il sera excellent sur en mastering ou sur les bus batterie, mais aussi \u00e0 l&rsquo;aise sur toutes sortes de sources sonores tellement les possibilit\u00e9s sont compl\u00e8tes, un vrai couteau suisse de tr\u00e8s grande qualit\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Il dispose d&rsquo;une <strong>section compression<\/strong> avec les r\u00e9glages classiques des compresseurs : Threshold, Ratio, Attack et Release.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Suivi d&rsquo;une <strong>section Tone<\/strong> dot\u00e9e de trois param\u00e8tres Knee : Hard, Med et Soft.<br>Le mode Hard commence \u00e0 compresser directement au Ratio pr\u00e9c\u00e9demment d\u00e9fini. Les modes Med et Soft effectuent une transition plus ou moins rapide vers le ratio d\u00e9finit pour une compression plus douce.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Le contr\u00f4le Thrust est un circuit brevet\u00e9 par API qui ins\u00e8re un filtre avec d\u00e9tection de la compression le mode Norm est comme la plupart des compresseurs sans filtre. Les modes Med et Loud diminuent la d\u00e9tection dans les basses fr\u00e9quence et augmente sur les fr\u00e9quences aigues pour \u00e9viter au compresseur de pomper \u00e0 cause des fr\u00e9quences \u00e0 hautes \u00e9nergies (Kick, Basse). Ce qui peut \u00eatre tr\u00e8s int\u00e9ressant sur un master ou un bus batterie par exemple pour \u00e9viter de faire pomper la batterie enti\u00e8re \u00e0 cause de la grosse caisse.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et le bouton de contr\u00f4le Type permet de s\u00e9lectionner un mode New \u00ab\u00a0Feed Foward\u00a0\u00bb comme la plupart des compresseurs actuels ou mode Old \u00ab\u00a0Feedback\u00a0\u00bb comme l&rsquo;API 525 par exemple. Le mode New sera plus dure, plus direct alors que le mode Old sera plus discret et plus fluide.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Et enfin la section Link permet de faire fonctionner le compresseur en st\u00e9r\u00e9o, en double mono, ou un pourcentage des deux. Cette fonctionnalit\u00e9 minimise le son de \u00ab&nbsp;d\u00e9calage de phase&nbsp;\u00bb que l&rsquo;on retrouve dans de nombreux \u00e9galiseurs. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Les sections Low et High peuvent fonctionner en mode Shelve ou Cloche. Tout deux sont \u00e9quip\u00e9es de l&rsquo;excellent<strong> ampli-op API 2520<\/strong> qui donne un tr\u00e8s bonne r\u00e9serve de gain. Un \u00e9galiseur qui n&rsquo;offre pas beaucoup de r\u00e9glage, mais qui est terriblement efficace, un grand classique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">J&rsquo;aime beaucoup ses aigus fin et doux et le mordant de son medium. Le plugin est d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 en association avec l&rsquo;ing\u00e9nieur du son <strong>Andrew Sheps<\/strong> (<em>Adele, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lana Del Ray, Metallica, Jay-Z<\/em>&#8230;)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">L&rsquo;EQ est semi-param\u00e9trique, il ne fait pas dans la discr\u00e9tion, c&rsquo;est tr\u00e8s color\u00e9, tr\u00e8s chaleureux, il donne beaucoup de mati\u00e8re. Les valeurs de fr\u00e9quences ont \u00e9t\u00e9 minutieueusement choisis.
